Avira Productions is a live-event production company in Toronto, Ontario. This page explains what we collect when you use our website or email us, what we do with it, and how to have it removed. Questions go to aviraproductions@gmail.com.
What we collect on the website
When you send a quote or contact request, we keep what you typed: your name, email address, phone number and the details of your event. We use it to reply to you and to prepare your quote. It is stored in our own client records and emailed to us.
To stop automated spam, our server keeps the IP address of a form submission for a short time. We do not run advertising trackers or analytics on this site. The site uses your browser's local storage only to remember display preferences, such as whether you have seen the intro animation.
When you email us, the conversation becomes part of our record for your event, in the same way a paper file would.
Avira Brain and Google user data
Avira Brain is an internal tool we built for ourselves. It connects to our own Google account, aviraproductions@gmail.com, through the Gmail API with read-only access, and keeps a record of our client conversations in our own database so that quotes, dates and email are in one place. It is not offered to the public and no other Google account is connected to it.
The information it reads from Gmail is used only to maintain that internal record. It is not sold, not used for advertising, not shared with anyone outside Avira Productions except the service providers listed below, and not read by people other than Avira Productions staff unless the law requires it. Avira Brain's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Who else sees it
Only the companies that store or deliver data for us: our web host, our database provider and our email delivery service. They process it on our behalf and cannot use it for their own purposes. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and client conversations are kept while they are useful for doing business with you. If you want your details removed, email us and we will delete them, unless we are required to keep a record, for example for tax purposes on a completed job.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email aviraproductions@gmail.com and we will answer within one business day. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.
